2. A car drives north for 3.00 kilometers in a period of 1000 seconds. The car then takes 200 seconds to travel south 7.00 kilometers. Report all answers in Sl units (e.g.m, m/s) For the entire trip, what is the car's: a. Distance travelled? b. Average speed? c. Displacement? d. Average velocity? e. Which of the above quantities are vectors? List them here and go back and make sure you specified direction for these quantities. f. For the trip north, what is the car's average velocity? g. For the trip south, what is the car's average velocity? h. What is the simple average of your answers to fand g? Note that you do not get the same answer you got in part d. To get the same value you got in d, you would need to calculate a weighted average of the two velocities. Note that you are not being asked to calculate the weighted average here- just remember that in the future, you should use the total displacement divided by the total time you are analyzing to get the average velocity! i. Did you remember to draw a labeled diagram?
