Can you please help me with this worksheet. My Hypothesis is onthe paper.
This worksheet contains all the questions, tables, graphs, etc. from the Antacids lab outside of the PDF instructional lab worksheet. I recommend reading through the lab before moving to the answer worksheet. Question 1. What question would you like to answer regarding the buffering capacity of antacids? To keep it simple, you should compare two antacids. You should compare the type of active ingredient, the brand name, the form of the antacid (liquid vs. tablet), or even the amount of an identical active ingredient. Hypothesis as it will better bueffer the Change in ptt 3. What is your null hypothesis? 4. What is the independent variable? 5. What is the dependent variable? 6. Name at least three factors that will stay constant in your experiment - these are controlled or standardized variables. Prediction 7. What do you expect to happen in this experiment? Be very specific. Experimental Design 8. Describe any control treatments you will use. (Recall that control treatments do NOT include the independent variable.) 9. Experimental error is a problem in all experiments but you can minimize errors by planning carefully. Consider what variables you want to control in your experiment as you create your design. Extra precautions might include; setting your stir plate to exactly the same speed each time; using the same pH meter for each test (and remembering to rinse it between tests); subtracting the initial pH value from your timed reading in case the initial pH values are different between different beakers of simulated stomach contents. 10. Write a DETAILED outline of your experimental design.Your procedure must be detailed enough that another scientist could repeat your exactexperiment.
