Most living animals are ectothermic but the two classes we are considering in this unit are both currently endothermic AND they are some of the most successful living animals. What do they share, in your opinion, that makes them both more successful with warm blood? Choose one other tetrapod class and suggest a reason they have never evolved homoeothermic endothermy.
