The reaction below is carried out to produce sulphur dioxide, SO2. At equilibrium, 1.67 mole of H2 S and 2.35 mol of O2 were measured inside a 1 L reaction chamber. The equilibrium constant, Kc, is 1.7×10−3. 2H2 S( g)+3O2( g)⇌2H2O(g)+2SO2( g) Given that the reaction produce the same amount of water vapour and sulphur dioxide gas at equilibrium: (i) Determine the concentration of water vapour and sulphur dioxide at equilbrium. (ii) Determine the Kc value for this reaction: 3H2O(g)+3SO2( g)⇌3H2 S( g)+29O2( g)
