2 (a) Explain the effect of noise on humans when they are undergoing prolong and continuous exposure? (6 marks) (b) The hearing range can be divided into three main ranges called infrasound, audible sound and ultrasound. Define each range by relating it to humans, animals, tools, and machineries. (6 marks) (c) An employee is exposed to the following levels of noise during his working day:
(i) Calculate the total sound pressure level, SPL (3 marks) (ii) Determine his equivalent continuous noise level, Leq (5 marks) (iii) Justify and provide comments whether your answer in Q2c(ii) complies with daily dose exposure (D%) from the DOSH Standard. Use Table Q2 as a reference.
