The propagation of uncertainty formula for the equation y=ax∧2 is (Δya​)2+(Δyx​)2​ where Δya​=(ax2)−((a+δa)x2) and .Δyx​=(ax2)−(a(x+δx)2) and. The values δa and δx are the uncertainties on a and x respectively. If a=3.6+/−0.7 and x=2.1+/−0.9 then what is the uncertainty on y ?
