QUESTION 2 (CEP) Antifreeze, or engine coolant, is a coloured liquid that is mixed with water to help regulate the engine during extreme temperatures. But antifreeze does more than just regulate temperatures. Maintaining proper fluid levels also helps to prevent corrosion. Potential antifreezes are alcohol water-solutions such as investigated by Cho et al., 2004 or Corti et al., 2006 for cold start of automotive polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells. As a research officer in the R \& D department, you have to propose a pure coolant liquid at 25∘C that must. be mixed with water to produce a 2 L bottle of commercial coolant (Figure 2). State any assumptions you make. Figure 2: Industrial Plastic Packaging \& Storage Solutions For comparison purposes, assume an ideal solution where the V-vs- x1 relation would be a straight line connecting the pure-species volumes, V2 at x2=1 and V1 at x1=1. You need to measure the volume of pure coolant liquid at 25∘C and comment on the percentage error that occurred.
