An air stream initially with a dew point of 10°C and relativehumidity of 80% (State 1) flows at 22 m3 /s. The airfirst passes through a heating coil, where it is heated to awet-bulb temperature of 20°C (State 2). The specific humidity ofair at State 1 is the same as that of State 2. The air is then fedinto an adiabatic dryer to remove 0.1368 kg/s of water from wetmaterial. The illustration of the processes is shown in the figurebelow.
An Air Stream Initially With A Dew Point Of 10 C And Relative Humidity Of 80 State 1 Flows At 22 M3 S The Air First 1

By using the Simplified Psychrometric Chart:
1) Calculate the total heating coil capacity.
2) Estimate the exit air temperature at state 3.
An Air Stream Initially With A Dew Point Of 10 C And Relative Humidity Of 80 State 1 Flows At 22 M3 S The Air First 2
