Fresh N2 gas of one (1) kmole is stored in a 500 L tank before use in the production. The gas temperature should be set within a range of 150−200∘C. Identify the suitable pressure to be set for the storage when the gas behaviour is considered as i) an ideal gas (ideal gas equation of state) and ii) non-ideal gas (compressibility-factor equation of state). Compare the difference between the calculated pressure. Comment on the behavior of the gas (idea or non-ideal) and conclude which equation of state should be considered in solving the problem.
