The results of a constant head permeability test for a fine sand having a diameter of 90 mm and a length of 160 mm are given as follow. constant head difference water collected in 7 min void ratio of sand =580 mm=470 cm3=0.8 Determine (i) Hydraulic conductivity in, k in ( cm/sec). (4 marks) (ii) Seepage velocity. (4 marks)
