Given the data as below; Length of the soil sample, L=16 m Area of the soil sample, A=2.3 m Area of the standpipe, a=0.75 m At time t=0, head difference =410 mm At time t=10 min, head difference =185 mm (i) Determine the absolute permeability of the soil (cm/sec). (5 marks) (ii) What was the head difference at t=6 min. (4 marks)
