As an engineer, you were given a task to design concrete basement slab for underground car parking. The design life is 100 years. Use 1.5 hour fire resistance and the diameter of tension reinforcement is 10 mm. The slab is two-way with dimension 7 mx5 m. i) Using MS EN 1992-1-1: 2010, suggest the suitable exposure condition and concrete grade for this structure. ii) Determine the concrete cover for this concrete beam by considering all requirements of bond, durability and fire resistance.
