When testing the model of a hydraulic spillway (the hydraulic
spillway or spillway is a hydraulic structure designed to promote
the passage, free or controlled, of water in surface runoff, the
spillway being exclusively for drainage, itself dominated
exclusively by the force of gravity) at a scale of 1:25, the flow
in one model was 0.1m3/s. a) What flow rate does the prototype
correspond to? b) If it takes a particle 1.0 minute to go from one
point to another in the model, how long will it take a similar
particle to travel the same path, but in the prototype?
