The torque-speed characteristic of the pump as the following Tpump = 50+ 0.0016 * wm , where the torque in N.m and speed in rad/s . 3ph induction motor The motor has the following impedances in ohms per phase referred to the stator circuit: R1 = 0.641.12 R2 = 0.33222 X1 = 1.106.12 X2 = 0.46412 XM = 26.312 The core loss is 1000 W and the friction and winding loss is 500 W. if the pump rotates at speed 1440 rpm at rated voltage and frequency. Find the following: a) The slip at this speed b) Pcony and Pout of the motor c) Tind and Tload d) Efficiency of the motor e) Draw the torque-speed curve of motor showing the values of (starting torque, pull up torque and the load torque) f) Draw the torque-speed curve of the pump at the same graph. g) Find the starting current of the motor at rated voltage and frequency.
