4-BIT Arithmetic and Logical Unit (ALU) A 4-bit ALU unit takes two 4-bit inputs and one 3-bit input (OPCODE). Based on the OPCODE the ALU performs one of the following instructions: ADD (A+B). SUB(A-B), AND (A&B). and OR (AB). The block level diagram of the 4-bit ALU is given in Fig 2. The 4-bit ALU is constructed out of 4 1-bit ALUS (hierarchical design). The block diagram and gate level diagram of 1-bit ALU is provided in Fig. 3a and Fig. 36. You need to implement this 1-bit ALU in Verilog using gate level modeling technique. Then, you will need to construct the 4-bit ALU as per Fig. 2 using the 1-bit ALU module.
