3. (a) An analogue baseband signal m(t) = 20 cos(100nt) + 17cos(500ft) is to be converted to a digital signal using linear pulse-coded modulation (PCM). The sampling rate is 50% above the Nyquist rate. The quantization error is not to exceed 0.1% of the signal peak amplitude. 6) Determine the bandwidth and power of the signal m(t).
