''PLEASE SHARE CLEAR SCREENSHOTS ''
2. Simulation of rectifying circuits (10 marks)
Before attempting this exercise,
review your notes on rectifying circuits.
In this activity, you will simulate
rectifying circuits in LTspice and bring screenshots of your
schematic diagrams and simulations to the lab for
marking.
Create a new file for each circuit.
In all cases R= 1KΩ.
For this activity, use the transformer you designed in
activity 1 to provide the input voltage.
2a. Half-wave rectifier with silicon
diode. (2 marks) Use diode 1N4148 in your
design.
Use only one of the
outputs of the central-tap transformer.
Schematic (1 mark)
Simulation (1 mark). Use more than one plot pane to show your
simulations.
2b. Full-wave rectifier with Schottky
diodes. (2marks) Use diode 1N5817 in your
design.
Schematic (1 mark)
Simulation (1 mark). Use more than one plot pane to show your
