According to Table 4.2C of the 2016 AF&PA AWC SDPWS, what
is
the ASD allowable shear load (Vw) in plf for a wood structural
panel diaphragm subjected to wind
loading with Doug-Fir-Larch framing under wind loading where 7/16”
thick OSB framing has been
attached to an unblocked diaphragm (Case 1) using 2x10 framing with
8d fasteners spaced at 6” O.C at
panel edges and 12” O.C. in the field? (As an aside, reference
Section 2306.3 of the 2018 International
Building Code for the basis to use the SDPWS.)
