For the system shown in the figure, determine the flow magnitude (Q) in units of m/s and the effective stress at the interface between soils II and III. The tube has a constant square cross sectional area of 0.25 m². Notice that the lower boundaries of soils I and II are at the same elevation. The properties of the soils are as follows: Soil : y = 18 kN/mº, k = 0.6 cm/s. Soil II: V = 21 kN/m', k = 1.0 cm/s. Soil Ill: = 19.5 kN/m, k = 0.3 cm/s.
