Use both the Method of Slices (aka OMS) and the Simplified
Bishop Method, discussed in class to determine the FS against slope
failure for the slope and circular slip surface shown in Figure 1
attached. You are required to perform the analysis using
an excel spreadsheet and for the slices shown in the
