Do you think the current privacy laws in Australia are
sufficient to prevent companies such as Facebook (which owns
Instagram and Whatsapp), Amazon or Google from monetising and
politicising personal information uploaded on internet platforms;
and
Should any additional restrictions be placed on Big Tech
to minimise the opportunity for them to use an individual’s
personal data against their own interests (and without their
explicit knowledge)?
