Many states and Washington, D.C. have decriminalized“nominal” amounts of marijuana and have medical marijuanaprovisions. This means that many other states and the federalgovernment continue to classify marijuana strictly as an illicitdrug.

Review: Drug Enforcement Agency’s Schedule ofDrugs (https://www.dea.gov/druginfo/ds.shtml).Consider the criteria that are used to determine a drug’sclassification provided on the DEA’s website, in addition tothe effects of these drugs.
Answer the following three questions:
1. Consider the burden of enforcing marijuana laws andshare your findings.
