A 10.00 m long cylinder with a radius of 0.10 m surrounds a thin wire running along its axis which carries a current of 1.0 A. The cylinder is then sliced in half along its long axis to form a 10.00 m long half-cylinder with the wire lying in the 10.00 mx 0.20 m face which now forms the flat side of the half-cylinder. If the current continues to flow as before, the magnetic flux through the flat face of the half-cylinder will O be half of what it would be if the wire ran along the edge of the cylinder instead of down the center line. Obe zero. O be twice what it would be if the wire ran along the edge of the cylinder instead of down the center line. O be the same as it would be if the wire ran along the edge of the cylinder instead of down the center line.
