The deflection of a cantilever beam subjected to an end concentrated force P =10 kN is governed by the following ODE: dy Px EI where El = Elo (1+x/L) kN.m2 dx² L y is the lateral deflection of the beam, Elo is the beam stiffness at x=0, and L is the beam length = 4m. Use FDM/Mathematica, with a step size h = 0.5 m, to generate the finite difference (FDM) equations necessary for getting a numerical solution for the beam deflection. Solve the resulted equations and compute the maximum deflection and bending moment. Use Elo =2000 kN- m².
