An 8-ft simply supported beam is carrying a uniform dead load(12.5kip/ft) and live load. The beam is supported by aa column (W12x 35) on both ends. The transfer of load from the beam to thecolumn is off center by 1.5 inches along x-axis and 3 inches alongy axis as shown in the figure. The effective length of the columnis 15 ft in any direction. Use Cb=1.1 if needed
