Negative Feedback Loops Definition: A negative feedback loop is a system in which a change in the state of the system causes a change back toward the original state of the system. An increase (or decrease) within the system will cause a subsequent decrease (or increase) back in the direction it began. This is also referred to as a balancing loop. The following is an example of Negative Feedback in Business: When a business encounters complaints, they improve their business to decrease the amount of complaints.
