In a population, genes A and B, each with two alleles, are linked. There are 3 individuals with haplotype 'AB, 3 with 'ab' and 2 with 'aB'. Calculate linkage disequilibrium (D), where D= P(AB) - P(A)P(B) (where P(AB) is the frequency of that haplotype, and P(A) and P(B) are the frequencies of those individual alleles.
Genotype 'AS' is favored over genotypes SS and AA. Given the following observed/expected numbers, calculate the relative fitness of the 'AS' genotype. 'SS' Obs= 4, Exp = 17, 'AS' Obs=166, Exp = 127 'AA' Obs=1030, Exp = 1056
