2. Cholesterol (pictured below) is an organic molecule produced in all animal cells. It is a component of all cell membranes in animals. Cholesterol is also a precursor molecule in the synthesis of steroid hormones and Vitamin D. FIRST, on the diagram, make sure to label any partial or full charges that would be present. SECOND, in the space provided below, explain whether you think thyroxine would be dissolved in water or not, make sure to clearly explain why or why not. LASTLY, on the diagram of below, indicate where on the molecule water could interact via hydrogen bonds and if water soluble, demonstrate the hydration shell. HO Cholesterol CH3 H₂C H₂C CH3 CH3
