1) I agree with this conclusion. The total sample size is givento us (n = 1000), and the number of households that indicated theyowned at least one dog or cat is given to us (x = 365). Given thatthe sample size is more than thirty (N > 30) and np > 5, wemay use the normal approximation. With a sample size of 1000 and asample proportion of 0.365, which is between 0 and 1, thisinformation may be used to create the confidence interval.
2) With this conclusion, I disagree. The reasoning does notaccurately reflect the sample's population of households.Fundamentally, the true proportion of households lies within 33.52%to 39.48%, with 95 % confidence would be the correct statement.
3) With this conclusion, I disagree. Generally speaking, ahigher sample size usually produces a more accurate sample andoffers a better approximation for the represented population. Witha bigger sample size, the inference is lessened. Therefore, alarger sample would have resulted in a more accurate and narrowerconfidence interval.
