A. Research suggests a relationship between TV viewing andhabits of 5 year old children and their future performance in highschool. The researcher first surveys the parents of (n=15) 5year olds to obtain the information on the family TV viewing habitsduring the time that the students were 5 years old. Thentheir average high school grades was obtained to compare.
B. Researchers wanted to see if 6 year old girls and boys haddifferent verbal skills while socializing with their peers. Thirteen 6 year old boys were selected and were paired with thegirls with the same age, SES, GPA, and height.
C. At csn, 20 students were randomly selected in a psychologyclass and 20 from a history class to see if their overall classgrade was any different.
D. 23 and me is company that provides a genetic analysis oncustomers who wish to learn more about their ancestry. Itallows the company to conduct studies to compare whether thecurrent generation resembles their ancestors in several demographicvariables. Thirty females in their 20's were compared withtheir grandmothers on 15 part physical traits.
