A reinforced concrete beam (f'c = 29.3 MPa) has b = 536 mm and h = 706 mm. The beam is simply supported on a clear span of 8.84 meter with As = 0.85pbal and fy = 420 MPa. The bar centroid are located at 67 mm from the bottom. The beam is reinforced with 10 mm (3 legged) stirrups (fyt = 276 MPa) uniformly spaced at 76 mm on centers. If the beam is carrying a superimposed dead load of 22.3 kN/m and a live load of 18.45 kN/m, calculate the maximum service live load "P" in kN that can be carried by the beam based on shear design criteria. Consider that P is located at 0.31 m from the face of the support. Use simplified calculation for Vc, and normal weight concrete with unit weight = 24 kN/m³.
