The site is 300’ x 400’. There are two sources ofcontamination. The first area is an aboveground storagetank leak of unleaded gasoline. Approximately 500gallons of gasoline has leaked out of the bottom of the tank. Thedepth to groundwater is 5 feet below surface. Theaquifer thickness is 20 feet, the bottom of the aquifer lies onwell fractured granite bedrock. The second source isfrom an underground leak of Number 4 fuel oil into the vadosezone. 100 gallons of Number 4 fuel oil was leaked. Evaluatethe two releases and come up with remediation strategies for bothreleases assuming that 1: They have commingled and 2: They are twoseparate and distinct released that have not commingled.
