SKAB2922 WASTEWATER ENGINEERING Assignment 2 Sewage Treatment Plant Design The attached map (Figure 1) shows a proposed plan of an urban development. You have to: 1) Draw the directions of wastewater flow towards pump stations, or sewage treatment plants, based on the contour lines shown on the map. 2) Propose a location(s) for Sewage Treatment Plant(s) that will serve the developed area. 3) Determine the Population Equivalent (PE) (refer Table 1), average and peak flow rates corresponding to the designated STP(s).
