At Sunshine University, students have the ability to use theirSunshine login and password to manage their classwork enrollmentevery semester. Right after the beginning of the Fall semester,after the drop-add period is over, you are called to theRegistrar’s Office to investigate a case. A student is complainingthat all of her classes were dropped from the system, but sheclaims she did not do it.
1.Besides biometrics, what other suggestions for authenticationmethodologies, technical or non-technical, would you offer to helpensure non-repudiation?
2.As universities move more and more towards online courses,what other situations could arise in which a simple login andpassword would not be enough to ascertain the student’s identityand prevent fraud?
