The chain of infection is an important aspect of life for everyone, especially those who work in the health care field. It is up to everyone to do what they can in order to break the chain of infection, as an intact chain of infection is how small disease outbreaks turn into large outbreaks, and short hospital stays turn into long ones. For this week's forum, please answer the following questions in your initial post: 1. Study the chain of infection, and in what place(s) do you think it might be the easiest to break the chain of infection? Please provide reasons to support your assertions. 2. If you are a patient in the hospital, what makes it more likely that you might contract a disease? 3.
