OSHA regulations require the handrail system to be at min. 42" tall and is capable of resisting 200 lbs point load or 50 plf (whichever is greater) at top of rail. The handrail post is spaced at 48" on-center and is supported by a pre-fabricated base plate with dimensions shown.
