A patient has been admitted to the ER with a diagnosis of lead
poisoning. The prescriber ordered: edentate calcium disodium
1.5g/sq m IV. The BSA is 2.0 sq m. The label on the vial reads 200
mg/ml. Add the prescribed amount of drug to 250 mL D5W and infuse
in 24
hours.
