A 2.8 kW, 400 V, 50 Hz, 4-poles, 1370 rpm, delta-connected squirrel cage induction motor has the following parameter referred to the stator, R₂ = 20, R₂ = 50, X₂=X₂= 50 and Xm = 80 22. The motor is controlled by stator voltage control to drive a fan load to run at rated speed and voltage. Evaluate the followings; (hints: T₁ = x(1 - s)²) a. b. motor terminal voltage, line current and torque at 1200 rpm, (CO3:PO3 - 15 marks) motor speed, line current and torque for the terminal voltage at 300 V. (CO3:PO3 - 10 marks)
