How can I show if there is a positive or negative linearrelationship with the data that is shown below? I know some data isnot necessary, but at the start of the design I was not sure whatdirection I was going with it. I surveyed 35 participants at thebeginning of a party if they applied bug repellent. At the end ofthe party I surveyed the guests a second time to determine thenumber of bug bites they received. I am thinking it would be anegation linear relationship as the increase in bug repellent useshould show a decrease in bug bites. The results of my surveyquestions are included in the chart below:
