3. A new virus ( XYYZ) has been determined to cause a very infectious disease in mammals. The only way this RNA-virus can be determined is to analyze the blood of the infected person. Explain, what microscopic/spectroscopic tests have to be performed to determine the following (a) Find if the infected person is carrying the live virus (b) Stage of infection i.e. early, middle or late and quantify the viral levels (c) If the infected person has adequate antibodies (d) Can you determine experimentally, If the virus has gone through some variation ( mutation)
