Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test. A study investigated whether there was adifference in physical activity levels between female adolescentswith anorexia nervosa (AN) and those without AN. In this study, theamount of physical activity (in minutes for the year) of n1=314randomly selected female adolescents with AN (patients) and n2=340randomly selected female adolescents without AN (controls) wasestimated by interviewing their mothers. The samples were drawnindependently. Test whether the population median minutes ofphysical activity for the patients differs from that for thecontrols, using a 1% level of significance.
