A car mechanic wants to prevent the water in the car radiator from boiling and hence suggests adding ethylene glycol (C₂H6O2) into the water to raise the boiling point of the solution. i) Determine the amount of ethylene glycol (in g unit) that needs to be added into 2500 g of water in the car radiator if a boiling-point elevation of 2.2°C is required for the solution. ii) Calculate the freezing point of the solution. [13 Marks]
