Ambient air at 30oC dry bulb temperature and 30% relativehumidity is heated to 120oC dry bulb temperature. The heated air isintroduced into a spray drier where it is used to dry a foodsample. The food sample enters the spray drier at a feed rate of 5kg/h, has an initial moisture content of 70% and leaves the spraydrier with a moisture content of 5% after drying. After the dryingprocess, air exits the spray drier at 60oC dry bulbtemperature.
Estimate the dew point and wet bulb temperature of theair after the drying process using a psychometric chart.(4)
