Consider that you have a cylinder and a sphere of equal diameter(12 cm), same thermal conductivity k = 15.2 W/m k, and bothgenerate heat uniformly and at a similar rate of 16.4 W/cm3 . Wheneach of them is placed in water, they transfer the generated heatto the water at 100°C with a heat transfer coefficient h = 3200W/m2 K. Assuming that there is a steady one-dimensional heattransfer, determine the temperature on the center line of thecylinder and the sphere.
