Air Oil (SG = 0.60) A Water ASG Loby Hg (SG = 13.60) CCI, (SG = 1.50) -E BCD -65 ft 49 ft -38 ft -26 ft -20 ft -14 ft The gauge reading (Pc) at the interface of water and CCl4 was found to be 4.50 psig and the height of CCl4 (hp) in the open piezometer column D is 34.60 ft, determine the following: (a) pressure in psig on top of each liquid layers (i.e. PA = air- oil, PB = oil-water and Pp = water-Hg) (b) elevation (hg, hc, and he) in ft of the liquids in the open piezometer columns, B, C and E Note: All open piezometer columns are exposed to some pressure, not equal to the atmospheric pressure.
