Part 2: Conservation of Momentum In this section, you will show that momentum is conserved for an elastic collision and for an inelastic collision. Remove the force sensor from the cart, then set up a motion sensor about 30cm from each end of the track and bring up a velocity vs. time graph for each. Place the other black plastic "foot" on the track and level it. Set the sampling rate of each motion sensor to 20 Hz.
