Although, both electric generator and electric motor are considered AC Circuits, they are very similar and very different. Characterize similarities and differences of the two. Pay close attention to the energy conversion. Give the so called Lorentz force equation (alternatively, the electrodynamics force equation) for electric motor, and the induced electromotive force for electric generator. Provide interpretation for both equations. The interpretation is indispensable.
