If you haven't watched the three "The Flying Pig" videos in this week's Canvas module, please do so now. They will help you in what follows. Note that measurements used in the videos will not be the same as your measurements. You must take your own. We will study circular motion by analyzing a conical pendulum, in the form of a flying pig. The pig will fly in a circle while attached to a pivot and the string holding up the pig will trace out a cone. 1. After watching the Canvas video, draw a force diagram for the pig. Imagine it to be in a position similar to the one in the screencap from the video shown below. If you don't have a camera to upload an image of your sketch, you can describe each one of the forces paying special attention to accurately describe the directions. Make sure to also resolve forces into their components.
