The rotor voltage equation of a squirrel-cage induction machine, in a generic reference frame, is given as: 7 = Rpir + d +j (wz -w) where w., is the angular velocity (in rad/s) of the generic reference frame and w is the electrical speed (in rad/s) of the rotor. Dot product the above equation with the vector ir and identify the various power components you obtain. Also derive the expression for torque if the machine has p number of pole-pairs.
