The MOD and DIV operations can be incorporated into expressions with the usual arithmetic operations of addition subtraction and multi- plication. It is customary to place them in the evaluation hierarchy at the same level as multiplication (). That is, in an expression without parentheses, multiplication, division, and remainder extraction (MOD) are performed first left to right, and after that addition and subtrac- tion left to right. For instance, 5-3 – 13 MOD 3+8.7 MOD 9 would evaluate on a first pass to 15-1+56 MOD 9, then to 14+2, and then to 16. Evaluate the following. (a) 22 MOD 9+1 (b) 273 MOD 10 - 10 MOD 273 (c) 100 DIV 13 DIV 2 (d) 100 MOD 13 MOD 2 (e) 26 DIV 8+ 26 MOD 6 (f) 58237910023 MOD 100 + 32001973285 DIV 100
